I sometimes schedule posts a few days ahead of time, but recently such attempts have failed. The post reads “missed schedule.” This began to happen after I updated to the latest version of WordPress about a week or two ago. This is a test post for the following fix, suggested by Otto42 here. In short, he suggested adding the following line to the wp-config.php file:
define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);
If this post is published successfully, then the suggestion worked.
I know others are having the problem, but I have not – yet. Hopefully it is working now?
